DragonCon 2021

The Great Jawa Horde appeared in the 2021 DragonCon parade live and in person! For those who weren't at DragonCon, a little context: In this pandemic year, DragonCon required masks and vax (or negative test), but they also had every track room suspend activity for an hour every day so that things could be wiped down and sterilized. Such events were listed in the official DragonCon schedule for those rooms as "Closed for Cleaning". A Closed for Cleaning Cult quickly sprang up around this, and the Horde adopted the idea for its parade decoration, with the Jawa's carrying various cleaning supplies and the Sandcrawler adorned with "Closed for Cleaning" signs. None of this was revealed beforehand, so the parade commentary about it is pretty ad lib. We have a number of videos to share with you, starting with the official DragonCon TV parade video, queued up to the start of the Jawas!
